Summertime means Fresh Fruits

My students informed me that there was an open-air market near our campus, so we all wandered there after class today. I got some zucchini, cherries, apricots, and Fuji apples, along with a wedge of tomme. They were delicious, and way cheaper than what I'd pay in the US.

For me, personally, I'm not going near an apple of any kind right now. (Which means no shiny new iPad. ) I figure the summer fruit season is short. Why eat fruit that I can get reliably the rest of the year?
