........thanks Joeslifeyork for such an uplifting thread.........like a body needs milk, a body needs sun.........ie going with sunshine can bring on depression and moodiness so it is a free gift to be treasured for sure...........I can remember dreary days on end during winter months growing up in the plains of North Dakota.......now live in the Sunshine state so blessed with many days of sunshine.........I want to congratulate you on kicking the smoking habit.........good for you and I hope you will stay smoke free........oh, and congratulations on yur achieving over 1,000 posts Confusedboy23........take care all..........

Wet day or dry day, sunny day or rainy, we're glad to be alive and to be surrounded with lovely people! :D That's what all of you are here on JUB!!! Have a great day/night, whereever you are.

York in the sun is great I moored there for a bit one summer and spent a winter in Elvington. Do you remember the floods there in the late 90's? I was at the lock in Elvington in the middle of them. Interesting times. I have fond memories of the area. Enjoy the sun while it lasts.

i actually prefer a bit of cloud cover the sun gets a bit much especially on a 40 degree day but its good on cold days like about 18 degrees

I can handle just about any cold winter day as long as it's sunny!
