I don't want to "sync and erase." I'd lose everything I have on my phone. I still have my old computer, but it is so slow.
 
If you move your music to the new computer with the same relative path, and then move the 'my music' folder over as well, also to the same relative location, itunes should read the catalogue and work just fine. Try it and fire-up itunes prior to connecting your device just to be safe.
