I live on the corner of a three way traffic light, so there's always some idiot honking his horn impatiently. Additionally, there is a middle school a block away, so every morning and afternoon there's a line of short tempered parents picking up their kid and honking like mad, as if the sound of their horn is going to make the light change.

There's a parking sign at the end of the block that's been twisted to the right so it's facing traffic. It's been that way for ten years. I want to cover it with my own sign that says:

THERE'S NO TRAFFIC IN HEAVEN. KILL YOURSELF.

Bitch tell me about it, when I'm crossing at a pedestrian walk I appreciate it when oncoming traffic actually yields to me, as they should, since I patiently wait for appropriate signal. A queen waiting, who ever heard of such a thing? And there's always that impatient asshole behind the person yielding wailing on the horn and I feel so bad that they're being harassed for doing the right thing. Those uncivilized beasts on the horn are the same ones who don't look both ways or check for pedestrians when they're turning. Don't get me started!
