In 2 days time my mum is flying up from Tasmania.
She's flying up for a 5 day visit to see how my new out of the nest life is.
I'm going to tell her I'm gay.
I'm not as afraid as I was when I initially came out, because now that I have been me for a while, it feels natural, and I'm happy with myself. But still, I'm feeling a little apprehensive. I mean I don't know when or how to break it to her. or how she'll react.
Ok so I'm a lot apprehensive, I don't expect that she will take it badly but, she might be shocked, or want time to deal with it... And what if she doesn't take it well.. ugh I don't even wanna think about it.
On top of all this she knows I'm seeing someone, god knows how, I talk to her a couple of times a week on skype and I never reveal anything. she just seems to know and I keep having to be evasive, because I can't exactly say, I have a boyfriend mum!
Anyway. by this time next week I'll be out to my family, which means I can come out to the rest of my friends. It's all a little bit scary and exciting!
