ACK...I saw that on the local news this morning....

...I think this will happen everytime I see that thing at the Grand Canyon....

The interesting thing is that I really have no problem with heights if I am enclosed like the glass box thing.

But the bottom suddenly dropping out would be a really big issue for me.

You'll see me standing on something similar when baby pigs start break dancing.

I thought the exact same thing. I don't mind jumping out of planes, but I would never walk on that viewing platform, I don't want to see anything that badly.

The visitors should sue the building owners, the glass makers, the city of Chicago, the state of Illinois and the federal government for aiding and abetting the creation of fear of standing on glass 1,353 feet above the ground and ruining their future enjoyment of standing on glass over the Grand Canyon abyss.

Also the fear of transparent elevators, fear engendered when watching the dancers shot through glass in Gold Diggers of 1935 and loss of trust in glass coffee tables supporting hot beverages.

I've been on the glass floor at the Calgary Tower, and it's pretty freaky! I can't imagine how scary it would have been if the glass cracked!

Also, here's Brent Everett on said glass floor :-)

I think the CN Tower was tested to 40 tonnes...Even a bunch of elephants couldn't break through.

Your chance of perishing up there is less than that of getting hit by a car in the street. Far far less...

In fact you have a bigger chance of being killed by a tornado in Greenland.

ZERO.

i'll say this
Major lawsuits if that glass would've broke completely while someone was standing on it! lol

Here Chicago, have all my nopes.

Every single one. Because I'm not standing anywhere NEAR that shit. I don't care if that was the coating or not, it cracked. Fuck ALL of that, i'll be a pussy if that means I don't plummet to my doom like that little fucker from Lord of The Rings.

^You are stupid. No way any of what you say could be real.
