Well....since it is going to be 105F/40.5C all weekend, I'm pretty much staying in the AC and watching Netflix.

Same for us. I think its supposed to be the hottest weekend of the summer season here in NJ. Hopefully no power outages.

I will be searching Netflix for some good things to watch. And maybe some light grilling. :)
 
I'm on a break at the moment. I got up around 6:00, vacuumed the pool, watered the potted plants out on the deck, washed my car, ran to the bank to get cash, and did two loads of laundry.

I hired yard help and directed/helped him on various cleanup tasks from 8:30 to 12:30.

Moved a wall oven from the deck up to the storage building on the hill. It's a heavy beast, a Wolf I found 2nd hand in Birmingham but couldn't use in this house. I intend to install it in the next. It's door must weigh over 50 pounds. Crazy.

Ran to Athens about 15 miles down the road to meet a seller who had a piano spider I was buying (2nd hand). He happened to be headed from Nashville to South Alabama, so I was able to meet him on the way and save a lot of gas. It cost less than 1/3 of a new one. My baby grand in the basement in on low pile commercial carpet so much have one.

Remainder of the weekend? Paint the stairwell to the basement, some baseboards, and the front deck and steps. Have help coming in the morning to do more brush cutting and power wash the driveway.

Will chill Sunday. :)
