When a few months ago I was asked to give a lecture, I was given a choice of dates, all of them on Wednesday.
I mentioned to the person organizing it that I thought the events were typically on a Thursday, and she responded, "Didn't you know that Thursday is the new Friday?"and that for many people the weekend now begins on Friday rather than Saturday.

They moved mine again, and now Monday is my Sunday: I have become a museum.

  • The Louvre
  • Centre Pompidou
  • L'Orangerie
  • Guimet Museum of Asian Art
 
The rest are not museums, either: the Guimet is a collection, the Orangerie is self-explanatory and the Pompidou is whatever except a museum.

I might have said that the Pompidou is more than just a museum but, as I said, so is the Louvre, and I stick to my previous statement.

Not disagreeing with you. My boyfriend has a museum card for Centre Pompidou and told me there used to be cruising at the Louvre gardens.
