I left after the opening monologue to drive and buy root beer and didn't bother coming back home.
 
I really enjoyed it. Being an unemployed bum I was able to watch it live on TV from Midday in Australia. No real surprises in the main awards section. Except I don't understand how 12 Years a Slave managed to win a Best Picture Drama award when it lost every other category.

I've got to say I do hope Leonardo Di Caprio doesn't win the Oscar for Dude, Where's My Oscar or whatever that 3 hours of him shouting was called.

It was the real American Horror Story: Coven up in here tonight, as this year's Golden Globes bash turned into a rowdy celebrity pageant of Wasted Ladies Kicking Ass. Tina and Amy led the way, though they saved their best line for the final stretch: "And now, like a supermodel's vagina, let's give a warm welcome to Leonardo DiCaprio."
