Once it hits around 2:55 -- wow! Spectacular, and I'm speechless everytime I hear it.

You should hear the version of that song with Celine and Andre Bocelli, It is on her Christmas cd. Andre is a Tenor and his voice matches with hers perfectly, I cried the first time I heard it. I believe the name of the cd is called "The Gift" by Celine Dion.

I'd pay $50 / ticket to hear Josh Groban sing the Brooklyn Yellow Pages.......in Polish! ..|

When I hear Ella Fitzgerald, or Sarah Vaughn, I hear "listen to what I have to say".

When I hear Celine Dion (and Josh Groban), I hear "listen to me".

I prefer the former. But that may be just me.

I'm a big big fan of her voice but I think his version of this with Charlotte Church was better....

Celine and Andrea Bocelli sang "The Prayer" at the Oscars a few years ago when it was nominated for best song. That was an extraordinary performance. Don't know if that's floating around "youtube" or not, but it's well worth a look. Powerhouse!

i don't like this kind of music, but i do respect the talented voices some of those singers have. That being said, what's more insulting is that none of those people actually write songs, they just sing it, while there are tons of legit bands who have talent and write their own songs yet are stuck playing in garages.

I guess it's just a matter of america getting taste one day.

hmmm, shows like American Idol aren't helping. :)

I'll agree with that. I could call myself a true fan of someone so much more easily if I know that they sing their own songs -- that way I'll know it's a true expression of THEM and not just a random song they sing.
