Albuquerque unveils statues of the 2 leading actors of BB
imho one of the best TV series ever

I've never heard of it. Is the monument made from solid chocolate or is it hollow?

Haven't tried it yet but Aaron Paul can get the cookies next time Alistair goes on a business trip. :gogirl:

For those who haven't seen it:

The only thing I know about the show is that Mythbusters tested a few of their 'stunts'. Two which come to mind are the machine gun in the trunk and an electro magnet. The machine gun was plausible. The magnet was busted.

I have never seen the show, despite Albuquerque LOVING the limelight it gave them, and their aspiring movie industry.

What many do not know is that Albquerque is progressive and has an art tax, so that every commercial or public building that is raised or remodeled must allocate a percentage to art. I never read the law, but I think the builder has the choice of including art in the facility or paying money to help fund local art. It's really an enlightened approach to city pride.

I'm sure this bronze is part of that drive, but just a guess.

Never watched it even though I heard it was very well-done and highly entertaining. Avoided it because I heard it was about manufacturing and selling drugs or something of that sort.

Spoiler alert. For those who saw the show, I thought the machine gun sequence was contrived. It might have been something Bruce Willis would have done, but it seemed too blunt a solution for Walter White to settle for. How could he be sure jack would allow him to park his car in just the right spot or that the whole gang would be together in that one room?
