so im on my train to work - and its a slow sports day (cept for the mets 10-9 squeaker over the phillies, a game they were ahead 10-1 and had to hang on ............ yikes)

well anyway

rich lowry - who i kinda like (i know i know ;)) - had a GREAT piece about YOU KNOW WHO

THE CHOSEN ONE :p

really put it into perspective

he probably was a little over the top - but .............

kinda right on

his basic premise is that BO is far left and ran a campaign about being different, uncalculating, earnest, fill in the blanks

and now ........ very different

changing his tune - in a big way :^o

1 - public financing pledge
2 - FISA flippity floppity - telecom immunity in terror surveillance
3 - gun control - Supreme Ct decision on Wash DC gun ban
4 - getting out of Iraq - when, how
5 - talking to enemy leaders - to whom and when
6 - abortion

now we've heard/read this before - but rich does it GOOOOOOOOOOOD

please read it

humor me - read it - do it for me ;)

BUT THE REALLY GREAT PART

is ..........

not that BO is getting away with this - or that he is doing it - cuz Lowry kinda gives BO kudos for pulling it off

but he (BO) couldn't do it without .........

YOU GUESSED IT

JUBBERnutters - or rather - his enablers

his FLOCK

his WORSHIPPERS

haha

all those peeps who are sooooooooo devoted to .........

to what?

to change?

his "dewy-eyed" (to quote Lowry) supporters are blind to what up

and that's the real point

as BO shrewdly plays the game which is the counter to the essence of his being ............... you all just nod ur head and make excuses

REALLY GOOD STUFF :=D:

hope u like it as much as i did ;)

and i have a new siggy

BARACK'S PATSIES

OBAMA'S ASTOUNDING BAD FAITH

THE signature moment of Barack Obama's primary campaign came last November in Des Moines, Iowa. He gave a speech at the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner that electrified the crowd and gave his campaign a kick that helped win the Iowa caucuses - a victory without which he wouldn't be the Democratic nominee.
Obama declared that "the same old Washington textbook campaigns just won't do." Deploring "triangulating and poll-driven positions," he said that "telling the American people what we think they want to hear instead of telling the American people what they need to hear just won't do." The Democratic Party had been at its best, he told the crowd, when "we led, not by polls, but by principles; not by calculation, but by conviction."
"I run for the presidency of the United States of America because that's the party America needs us to be right now," he vowed, staking his candidacy on the achingly idealistic premises of a new, more forthright and uncalculating politics.
What makes Obama's "textbook" dash to the center so extraordinary isn't just its speed, but how it falsifies the very essence of his candidacy. It's as if Bill Clinton won the Democratic race in 1992 and announced suddenly that actually he wasn't a "new kind of Democrat or if George W. Bush, after winning his party's nomination in 2000, forswore "compassionate conservatism or if John McCain, after winning the GOP contest this year, declared in favor of a hard deadline for withdrawal from Iraq.

It's quite sad, some of the Obama supporters. They just can't see the train wreck for what it is. Obama realizes that normal Americans aren't going to vote for a left wing nutjob. So now he needs to re-invent himself.

Suddenly he's a supporter of gun rights, tax cuts and abandoning his promise to do a publicly financed campaign. He can't even claim to be losing his mind like McCain seems to be. He isn't old enough.

His manipulative behavior is so transparent . . . but the Obamites are in denial.
Even the "NY Times" called him out on his metamorphosis in their editorial on the 4th. They entitled it "New and Not Improved" . . . it's worth a look. Sorry, I don't have the link available.

^i don't imagine we will get much feedback here

the denial is deep - so deep ;)

and it's tough to type when ur on ur knees praying to .........

Nice try.

Time and specifics are making it increasingly difficult for Obama's detractors to keep pretending that he's a "left wing nutjob". Now that the fake label no longer sticks, they're forced to re-invent their talking points... by trying to blame Obama for not being the radical commie they hoped he'd be.

Obama's centrist positions have been the bedrock of his campaign. Anyone who is only now discovering this either hasn't done their homework, or is easily swayed by bumper stickers.

they seem to be taking a breather now that he is on the pedestal alone

I see it more as :fellate:

Jess Us Christ ^^^^^^
what I just read above sounds just like a page from the Dims version of Rove's play book.

BHussainO is a Centrist !!!!!!!!!!!

Chance is so Right about the blinders. Karl Marx would be so proud of his new torch bearer.

Except for the part where labeling Obama a "left wing nut job" sounds just like a page from Rove's version of Rove's playbook...

Of course he's a commie. Because he has a funny middle name.

I said his name because it is one of the things that is "off limits" to talk about. Ya know it is not right to talk about .....

His middle name
His Big ears
His white Grandma
Risko
Flag pins

143 days on the job before he thought he was good enuff to run for POTUS

Facts why he Did Not go to work on Wall Street

Commie No , But close. Marx was a Socialist. As is bHo.

i don't think he's a nutjob or left wing

i think he's a traditional liberal who believes what he believes

and i respected that ............

now he's making believe he's someone else

not looking to blame Obama for who he is - just wanna know who he is

in the primary he was this guy - now he's that guy

i think lowry's piece is pretty on

he has no "past"
he defined himself as "x" in the primary
he's now backing off/changing many of his views for the general

the whole basis for his being was the "x"

your response kinda makes lowry's point about BO's backers not being awake to the changes in his positions

the guy is amazing - a real player

but he's not real

your response kinda makes lowry's point about BO's backers not being awake to the changes in his positions

Um no, my response kinda makes my point about BO's detractors not being awake to the fact that his positions haven't changed.

Obama's centrism is getting in the way of his opponents' playbook. He's being blamed for not living up to their pre-planned stereotype.

The trashiest campaign against Obama is people with no character who slink and kink around his middle name as if that shit is cute. Barack's middle name has nothin' to do with nothin' and people who single that out clearly need a bit more education before they go around discussin' big-people stuff like politics.

FWIW, I don't support Obama because I think he's the Messiah or Chosen one, I'm a risk taker and would rather take what's behind door#2 than John Mccain who's, well John Mccain. Supporting Obama doesn't mean you're blind, it means you'd rather take a chance than risk GWIII. He may very well be worse than GW+JM times a million but from what I've seen so far, he's just a bad public speaker and doesn't have much of a backbone. I haven't seen anything that indicates gross incompetence. He's not stellar, but he's not as bad as the campaign against him suggests.

for the record - lowry's piece does not mention hussein - which IMO is off limits - agree with u

lowry's point - and i agree - is not that supporters of obama r blind - rather that they do not acknowledge his "change" or "evolution"

i don't think there IS much of a campaign against him

rather the vetting of him/his ideas etc. - has been slow to evolve - not sure if it ever will evolve

look at JUB

i post a few things about obama and get hammered or ignored

it's a rigged deck
