I heard the character died. Haven't watched soaps in years. I think it's creepy she talked someone into dying. She worked him like a part time job.

I guess I'll have to watch the show tomorrow now or miss out on a little Americana history.

yeah that's horrible and everything but i'm more upset about the departure of Trevor Donavan. damn....damn.....DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!!

Drake Hogestyn has hated that he hasn't gotten much screen time these past few years and he voiced his issues and the NBC heads got wind and dealt with it...

IMHO... It's alll that damn Marlena's fault...

Every time they reconcile he ends up wounded, hurt or in a coma due to rescuing the bitch...

When he was Father John and was with Princess Gina he wasn't in as much danger...

I bet if they would have killed her(Marlena), or if the bitch just stayed dead or w/Romans retarded ass John would be living the good life...

I'm gonna miss u John...
Bo Brady it's your time to shine buddy... Keep doing your thing...

Countdown 2 the year 2009 when we say good-bye to the whole cast of "Days"
(If not sooner... cuz fans are rapidly faltering from the fan base)

I don't watch NBC but have been watching the entire ABC & CBS soap lineup for the better part of the past 3 decades and if there's one thing I've learnt is is that these soaps will say or do anything to lure in lost viewers.

He's not dead. Isn't this the same show which murdered 75% of it's integral cast about three years ago only to have them stranded on some island? :(

Yes. It is. And no, I don't really believe that he's dead Ever since they 'undid' the serial killings, I haven't believed that anyone could never come back. Not even the venerable Tom Horton.

Hell, I'm not sure they're telling the truth about Tom Horton's portrayer, MacDonald Carey, being dead, anymore. :help:

Well I think that's pushing things a little much BigDestiny (re: MacDonald Carey) coming back to reprise his Horton character.

But your point is definitely the same as mine: there is no such thing as the great beyond in soapland. And there is no age limit to who can die and come back. It's NOT just the young ones.

And the same thing applies to nighttime dramas. Way back during the 1986-87 season of CBS's "Dallas" Barbara Bel Geddes came back to her Miss Ellie role on the show to shine(?) in a storyline that resurrected her dead husband Jock Ewing (as originally played by Jim Davis, 1978-81).

Feaux Jock was eventually revealed as Wes Parlake an old World War buddy of Jock's. And no this bad storyline can not be attributed to Pam's dream ... But what's funny about that and if you're a big fan of "Dallas," you'll remember that Wes was introduced during Pam's dream and the CBS honchos made the mistake of continuing his storyline once Pamela woke up. (WTF?)

Below: Miss Ellie asks Pam why she has the entire cast wrapped up in her zany dream.

Sorry, it sounds like a lot of revisionist history to me. I wish the actor well in his future endeavors, but I won't miss his "acting" one iota. DH was the worst actor on daytime...even worse than Ronn Moss (Ridge on B&B), and that's saying something. If this ultra-eyebrowed ham had chewed any more scenery, there wouldn't even be an hourglass left at NBC.

I love watching Days of our lives I have watched it for 10 years and I no what you mean wednesday's episode was so sad I cried all the way though it and thursday's was the beginning of the funeral I loved the end when Stafano showed up hes one of my favorite characters but I don't no what in the world hes thinking showing up there when half the people there hate him and they think he did it which I guess that always happens something bad happens first people they blame are Stafano or EJ LOL but I would love to no who was driveing that car that hit John guess have to wait and find out

Who knows? Maybe he really is dead and this is just the beginning of all the actually decent actors on this show to begin finding greener pastures since "Days Of Our Lives" runs it's course on NBC in less than 18 months.

The show finished dead last -- yes, even behind "Guiding Light" in the ratings for the weeks ending September 14 and September 21. So a lot more "names" will probably be leaving soon similar to what happened with ABC's "Port Charles" four years ago.
