I NEVER thought I'd see this thread here!!!! I've been listening to dubstep for about 3 years, before it really kicked off! :D

Dubstep is heavvyyyy!!!! I mix it myself, and it's what everyone listens to here.. BIG!!

What kind of dubs do you like?! I'm feelin' the super gritty, dark bass dubs!

16 Bit, RUSKO, Bar 9, Komonazmuk, Reso, The Others, Caspa, Skream, Rob Sparx, DZ, Stagga, Prospecta, True Tiger, 501 etc..
Judging from the videos you shared, I guess you're quite fond of minimal dub. as well?
I just got a new vinyl today "The Croydon Dubheadz EP [2009]" from N-Type & Hatcha, and it has a sick Benga track on there called: On The Edge.

Yeaahhhh big up the rub-a-dub! (!) (!) (!) (!)
 
I mainly prefer the "dark" stuff with the gritty DnB-like bass synths, like this one:

We've got our own dubstep night now for all the heads in Cornwall :-)

this thread will be of great help when i finally get the chance/vibe to start delving into dubstep. i'll stick with what little breakcore i have for now though.

Skream is overrated and overhyped. In one interview, he said he dislikes Gabber, yet recently he produced such a track.

I'm not so fond of tracks that still use the Amen breakbeat in 2009.

Yeah I hear what you're trying to say; he's over-hyped, but he was one of the originaters to create dubstep. Some of his tunes a SHIT, but then others can be complete stompers!
Playing out, he's actually a really good DJ, and has a lot of mixing/FX skills.

Everyone into dubstep MUST have heard Doorly's remix of Bonkers?! It's cheesey, but it's a tune!

Hmm... some tracks are interesting, others are terribly uninspired and cheap. Too many producers need to lose their tough-Hip-Hop-gangsta-guy attitude and stop with their cheap gore movie innuendos :rolleyes:
