I also like it. But no Myers is why so many people hate that movie! I rewatched it a few months ago, and something I read or an extra on the DVD commented that the movie might have been a lot better accepted it hadn't been released under the Halloween name, with the expectation that Halloween=Myers. Apparently, the idea (IIRC) was they felt the Myers story was done, and they were interested in doing an anthology franchise that would have different stories. That could have been fun.
