So this is new original series that aired on ABC Family June 3rd.
Having no time prevented me from seeing it when it aired, thank the Maker for On Demand and the internet.

It's a show about a lesbian couple raising one biological child and 3 or 4 foster children.
When seeing the previews I had my doubts, it looked like a melodramatic, pretentious, cliche.

After watching the first couple episodes, am surprised, I actually like it.

Takes place in San Diego (awesome in itself)
But they have a really good cast, good acting, good writing and the cast has great chemistry.

Mentioned before a sign of a good, successful show is how well the chemistry is between the actors. If you get a chance, check it out, worth it.

Airs Mondays on ABC Family at 9pm central

You can watch the episodes directly from the network's website. (very cool)

He has pritty eyesez

Suspect he may be a star on the rise.

I love it, love it, love it.

The episodes get better every week. I love the two moms. Its just really good TV.

Is the show worth watching, I've been considering watching, but I'm haven't decided.

^It is worth watching. I agree with Missanne, the episode do just keep getting better.

You can find out for yourself, you can watch whole episodes from the website directly, no need to wait for it to air.

It' clichéd as hell.. nothing you haven't seen before. It's your typical family drama, done a million times before (only this time the parents are lesbians). You can tell what's going to happen long before it happens. Ugh.. on the one hand, it's better than most other tv shows, on the other.. it could have been so much better. I don't feel like it's living up to its potential.

The storylines need to get better and more interesting, and the writing needs to get better. The cast is great, love the actors, and characters too. I think they are good as a family. It's just that it's really not that exciting.. idk. Maybe I'm just expecting too much, or maybe the show just doesn't appeal to me. I just feel the show could have been better, that's all.

^Felt the same way at first, but there is something about this group of actors that I really like. They have good chemistry and they are fairly decent with the acting. I suppose the show has grown on me like a fungus. They've had only a few episodes, maybe give it time to develop.

Don't get me wrong, I agree! The chemistry is great, the actors are doing a good job, and the characters are real and likable. It's just.. the storylines are so clichéd and boring. It's all so predictable, it's all been done a million times before. The show seemed so good and with solid writing, it could be. But these clichéd stupid storylines are just not that appealing. I watch it, since it's still better than most tv shows.. but I hope it improves, and fast.

Yes! Its worth watching. I was a little dissapointed with the pilot but I stuck in there and Id say that Ive been rewarded each week.

If anyone here is looking for eye candy: Id say that the lesbian couple are just too cute to pass up. The rest of the cast is adorable as well, but too young for me to crush on. (But that is just me)

I realized that I watch a boat-load of ABC Family. Switched at Birth, Twisted, The Fosters, Melissa and Joey, Baby Daddy. Good Stuff happening on that channel.

Callie needs to ditch the long-haired loser and shack up with her foster 'brother', he is nicer and has pretty eyes.
Caution of the past be damned.

Worst thing that could happen is the moms sliding some condoms under the door...

I do want them to get together but.... its such a tough situation. Perhaps if they do, he will offer to go live with his Dad.

^I can see that happening, would give way to a teen pregnancy story line
That would probably trigger Brandon moving in with daddy.

I agree with you on Melissa and Joe and Baby Daddy. I don't normally watch sitcoms as they tend to be like nails on a chalkboard to me, but those two shows have found a nice little place in my heart. It's all in the casting and they are just nice, feel-good shows.

I hope not. Im kind of sick of teen pregnancy storylines. I know that they have to put that message out there but, teens have sex all the time and dont get pregnant.

I was kind of hoping that Marianna liked her best friend and that was the real reason that she was upset w/ her brother. Looks like that isnt the case and she's just a brat. :)

While seeing Marianna and her BF lock lips would be hot as hell and definitely gain some viewers, was thinking Callie's brother would be a good candidate for being the "coming out" story.

Yes! Do you think that he's gay or gender non-conforming ?

He may have been crushing a bit on that kid that wore the nail polish in solidarity with him.

^yeah, even though he's pretty young, I was getting that vibe from both of them. The way they were smiling at each other, seemed like a little something more starting to develop, more than just friendship. I think it may be both, non-conforming and a little bi-curiosity. That would be an interesting story line to tackle if the show survives into season 2 or 3.

But yeah, Marianna is very much a brat, it's a little overkill for just her best friend dating her brother... you could be right, she may be confused and maybe she does have feelings for her and she is unsure of it all. She does seem pretty clueless about things.

I can't believe what she said in front of the parents the other night. Im keeping it vague just in case no one has seen it yet.

If I was Jesus I would has aired all of her dirty laundry, right then and there.

Some pretty powerful subjects tackled in the last few episodes.
Usually not one to cry over a tv show, but the rape story and how they handled it was pretty good.

The last episode, I cried.

Really love the theme song and the song choice or the end of the season finale was perfect....
