A gay couple have described their shock at being refused a viewing and the chance to buy a house in south London because of their sexuality.

Lachlan Mantell and Luke Whitehouse were sent a message from the owners of the property they were interested in that said they were "unwilling" to let them view or buy it.

What on earth does it matter to the sellers who the hell is buying their house?
Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face!

You could sort of understand if it was a rental ...

Just sadly reinforces the fact that there are religious types out there who wished they didn't have to share the planet with certain types of their own God's creation.... How insulting must that be for God?!

Rent a house to gay men and the first thing they'll do is cut holes in the bathroom doors.

I would assume this would be illegal in Britain---religious "freedom" isn't a thing here when it comes to real estate.

Unfortunately it would seem that religious 'freedom' trumps everything else
There is obviously a discussion/court case to be had to decide which discriminatory behaviour is top of the pile
