oh honey, you need to pick up a book or something. green lantern is a A List superhero, don't insult something you know nothing about.

You shouldnt be surprised...If you're 30 & above then you've heard of the Green Lantern because they were HOT Item action figures when we were kids...Not to mention the classic-cartoons...


If you're in your 20's or younger the odds are Green Lantern is a Mystery...That generation is use to watching a Talking Sponge & a talking Spoon on Saturday mornings...Saturday-Mornings in the world of Cartoons CHANGED a long time ago...


I'm glad I grew up in the 80's & 90's with the BEST cartoons...I'm so GLAD I missed out on Cartoon shows that feature talking Eggs and Milk cartons...

i would say it is the other way around as Green Lantern has made a big comeback recently. Especially with the Darkest Night/Brightest Day event happening in DC right now.

within the comics-fanboy-bubble, the green lantern is pretty well known. but he isnt as known to the general non-comic-reading public, the way superman, batman, wonder woman, or spider-man are. id say hes about as well-known as thor or iron man (before the movies).
