When I worked as Food Director for Shady Pines(not the real name) I would create these pretty elaborate 4 week no repeat cycle menus.

They had a choice of 3 different items for lunch and 3 different items for dinner. No item repeated for 4 weeks. Unless requested.

Think of that. 6 different items per day for approximately 300 residents. Not an easy task.

And guess what. We would turn the flat top grill on at night because a lot of them only wanted grilled cheese.

Arnold Brick Oven white bread heavily buttered with Land O Lakes American cheese.
 
A grilled cheese sandwich and soup is good
 
Here's my recipe for a crustless grilled cheese.

But a big loaf of Velveeta and cut into thick slices. Enjoy. :LOL:
 
You have to make sure you only use cheese the way god intended for cheese to come - individually wrapped from Kraft. Put it on Wonder Bread with lots of butter.

THAT is the way a grilled cheese should be made!
 
I usually put two slices of cheese in my grilled cheese sandwich, usually American cheese, but sometimes one American and one of something else. Traditionally I fry a grilled cheese sandwich in butter or oleo, but sometimes I toast the bread in a toaster and butter it and add the cheese and microwave it. Long time ago (maybe before microwaves) I heard of making a grilled cheese sandwich and wrapping it in aluminum foil and ironing it.
