What was the last thing you killed?

Aside from insects, my 'previous cat' maimed a bird and I had to kill it and put it out of its misery. That happened about 5 years ago.

There were some girls cutting through my property yesterday. They were about 9 & 12, but clearly knew they were tresspassing.

I don't want to go into the details.

In my lifetime I've killed billions and billions. Just last night I killed millions more, left to wither and die on a store brand paper towel I can't even bother to properly bury.

You know, it's really foolish of you to admit that here.

A baby cockroach which means there are alot more - damn. Time for the roach motels.

Do weeds count? I sprayed them with Roundup yesterday.

My cats, not directly. I had to have them euthanized humanely. One had gotten cancer, the other had multiple organ failures. I did take care of them for years. They had a good life with me.

A few months ago an unknown species of insect that looked suspiciously like a small cockroach. We don't have those here, and I didn't want that to start now.

Been to Jersey City in summer. No thank you.

Normally I try hard to avoid killing insects. Bumblebees and wasps are captured and released and butterflies -if applicable-... oh wait!

Moths that eat clothing are destroyed the instant they are encountered in the housboat or the storage of the lady I sometimes work for.

No Asian vintage clothing for you! Go re-incarnate somewhere else!

I feel the same way about bees of every sort. Wasps, less so, but don't kill them unless we're in a face-off.

Most recently, I had my cat put to sleep due to organ failure. However, that may not count since it wasn't by my hands.

About 30 years ago, a skunk trapped itself in a humane cage trap usually used for wild dogs and cats. I couldn't release the trap door so I watered the skunk tail so that it couldn't lift it to spray. And I shot the skunk. Hauling it off wasn't any fun. I got it into a box, then into a large trash bag, the closed the "handle" of the bag in the trunk lid (with body of bagged skunk hanging on the outside) and hauled it away.
