Isn't that always the way it goes? I never planned or counted on getting together with my guy. He was younger than me, a friend of a friend. I thought that he was way out of my league because I was an average looking, somewhat stocky guy, and he was, no lie, a athletic hunk. I actually tried to drive him away because I didn't think I had a chance, and I was falling for him. Luckily, he wouldn't accept my rejection. And I learned to trust him, because I'd been hurt too many times before. Eleven years later, it is still so good! I won't tell you it's going to be all perfect, because it won't be, but if you both talk to each other, and are honest, it will last.

I hope you know how lucky you are. I had it once but we weren't able to work thourgh some big issues standing in our way and skrewed up bad. I moved away and we lost contact. A few years later I found myself in a much better place but still carrying a BIG torch for him so I set out to find him. What I found was during our time apart he had continued down his self distructive path and was no longer here. I was distroyed (still am). The only reason I took you down such a bummer path was to show how important it is that you work at it when things are less than prefect. Enjoy being together and that well go a long way. I'm jealous as all hell but I really do wish you guys all the best.
