After six years, Ace Of Base is starting to re-emerge. They've been touring since last fall and are about to begin a long string of shows that will take them through the summer. They are planning on releasing a new album - their fifth - later this year and these are the first promotional pictures we've seen since their last album came out in 2002.

To answer the question, "the blonde chick," also known as Linn Berggren, left the band. Despite once being the lead singer, she stepped back from the spotlight 10 years ago, before the release of their third album. Her participation in the band declined from there. She remained a lead vocalist on their third and fourth albums, but made no promotional appearances and played minimal roles in their music videos. She was rarely seen in public at all. It was finally confirmed late last year by the other members that she had completely left the band. They will continue on as a trio.

How old are they now??? Around 40, right?

Jenny is almost 36. Ulf is 37. Jonas is 41.

Their new official website launched today. It's currently lacking in content since it's still a work in progress. It's supposed to be completed by May. Coming sooner, though, is a chance to hear the new version of Wheel Of Fortune. They've performed the song on their tour and we'll finally be hearing the studio version soon.

No real news about the new album was revealed today, but Ulf at least confirmed that they're working on it.

omg they actually look younger in those new pics with the exception of the bigger guy! i guess thats what air brushing does to ya.
