The No. 3 Singles Of 2007 - Do You Have A Fave?

It's not fair!

It's always the No. 2 and No. 1 singles that get all the glory when some of the most-loved singles from the past couple of years only got as high as No. 3 on Billboard's Hot 100 (Kelis' "Milkshake," Destiny Child's "Lose My Breath," Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps," etc.).

All of those songs were kept out of top two glorydom. '07 had a lot of No. 2 and No. 1 singles but as a result of that, the No. 3 hits were in short supply But don't fret there were some and give it about 3 minutes to decide which you'll never forget as time goes by.

* BEAUTIFUL LIAR - Beyonce & Shakira
No. 3 for one week (April 7)
Top 10 for four weeks
Hot 100 for 16 weeks

* THE WAY I ARE - Timbaland Featuring Keri Hilson
No. 3 for four weeks (Oct. 6)
Top 10 for 19 weeks
Hot 100 for 24 weeks

* GIMME MORE - Britney Spears
No. 3 for two weeks (Oct. 20)
Top 10 for three weeks
Hot 100 for ten weeks

The Way i Are Is arguably the biggest hit of the year, definatley one of the top five best songs that came out this year, my favorite!!!!

I like it a lot, too, LatinoStar. Although I'm pretty sure it won't be the biggest hit of the year, odds are looking that it'll actually outrank "Give It To Me," the No. 1 hit by Timbaland Featuring Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado.

"Give It To Me" spent a quick seven weeks in the Hot 100 top 10 'vs.' the hearty 19 weeks enjoyed by "The Way I Are."

I have to say The Way I Are is the Best, but I love Beautiful Liar too. I hate Give me more, it sucks sooooo bad, Britney needs to go away. lol
 
For some reason I dont see why The Way I Are is so popular? Its an ok song but nothing that good about it. I jam to it at the club but that about it.
 
my favorite single this year is Boy With A Coin by Iron And Wine, i don't even know if it was actually played on radio, but it's amazing.

i thought Misery Business was a good single too.
 
"Boy With A Coin" was good. It was one of the very few songs this year, actually available in single configuration and it made the top 10 of Billboard magazine's Top 25 Singles Sales Chart early this fall.

Heck, my No. 1 favorite song of the year, The Killers' "Read My Mind" only made it to No. 61 on Billboard's Hot 100.
