Just remember, things could be worse . . .
I think this might be why they killed production numbers from the show

I don't see any people with dwarfism, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, or a cervical rib nominated on that list. No albinos either. Cancel the Oscars!!

More production numbers . . .

5:38 - 7:42 (Various musical numbers)

40:33 - 44:05 (Madonna "Sooner or Later")

1:02:45 - 1:06:46 (Aretha Franklin "Nobody Does It Better" & Sheena Easton "For Your Eyes Only")

1:14:13 - 1:19:15 (Various musical numbers)

1:25:27 - 1:25:35 (The shortest acceptance speech ever given . . yup, she said "thank you" and left the stage)

1:26:25 - 1:27:34 (Richard Roundtree "Shaft")

*Many 'movie stars' appear in the video

I used to love them but it's almost impossible to find the channel they're on, and when you do the presenter is a little scroat you could happily strangle.

I've seen about 3 of the films up this year, Year of the dog, Dune and something else, none Oscar worthy.

I watched The Power of the Dog and have no fucking clue what I watched.

Talk about Oscars So White...

The producer of the Oscars this year, Will Packer

Will-Packer_CAA-Speakers_Web.jpg

Ive only seen Cruella and Spencer

I would have preferred Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. They killed it at one of the award shows. I like Wanda Sykes. I only like Amy Schumer (under a nude Jon Cena in 'Trainwreck'). I think I have been getting Regina Hall and Regina King mixed up, I think

I think its a mistake to downsize some categories. Cmon, its a long show. We all have dvrs, A person can take a break if they think its too long. Imagine watching it in 1975, pre vcrs. If you dont watch it then, you miss it

I am good with whoever they want to give their little statuettes to.

The age of the Oscars and emmys and Tonys and all of the awards shows is over.

And will never come back the same way. The industry doesn't rely on the Oscars to make money any more.

Since the last movie I saw in a theatre was a first-run of 'Princess Bride', I'm not particularly bothered by not seeing them again this year.

I think the last time I watched was in the 1980s.

I don't know who most of the nominees are and I haven't watched any of the films.
