The Pianist - Ger has left us again...?

Woah, When I was in the forum overview, all I saw in the "last post" column was "The Pianist - Ger has left us...".
 
Like Paws I was (thankfully) misled by the heading in the Forum Overview.Please Jubbers consider how you phrase your titles.
"The Pianist leaves again" conveys the same message without misleading or distressing anyone.:wave:
 
so, did we lose the pianist or is ger just on sabbatical or was the whole header just a freaking misleader?
 
I beleive he has a full plate. He'll be back.
 
It's good to take a break now and then. I'm sure he'll return refreshed and ready to go. Too much JUB will burn you out.

Yeah I talked to him yesterday, I was talking to him when he sent the message to Seth for account deletion. His reasons I'll keep personal but some others on the board already know of his reasons.

Let's just say his reasons are the same reasons why I deleted my old account two months ago.
 
We all know JUB has changed a lot. The posting crowd is younger, and the negative posters also remain.

Hopefully Ger will return some day to give us his thoughts and share some more. I will miss him, but do talk to him occasionally on Yahoo,

I agree with what you have said, but I hope the playing field levels out. Tell Ger I miss him and hope to see him here again sometime.

I totally agree with you. Gery has told me he'll lurk on the boards, but not really make an account here. I guess we have to accept his decision.
 
I always enjoyed my interactions with him. :( I hope he comes back... or at least keeps in touch with a few of us.
 
At the risk of sounding like I pick favorites, Mr. Pianist is one of the special people I go out of my way to check for when I log in. He and I have had some wonderful interchanges, and I miss his presence here.

But I understand the need for a break.
