The commercial starts with these girls dancing and you cant see who they are and it goes on and on about all these facts about the dolls and then the lights come on and you see that its not them its a group of no name girls.

They basically are going to try to find a 7th member. I personally do not understand the point of this. I think they are HOT they way they are. Did they or their managers not see what happened with TLC. Whatever happened to that?

I just hope that once Nicole releases her solo cd she dont plan on leaving the dolls!!!!!!!!!!

Your thoughts on this...

I originally thought that they were doing this show to replace Nicole so she could leave the group since she was originally only signed on to do the first album...but i've now heard she's signed on to stay for the second album. So that got me thinking is this show just to become like a pussycat doll during the stage show...like in Vegas and Hollywood or wherever the Pussycat Lounge's are. So i'm kinda confused by the show now

I think she does all the vocals on the cd, The next one will probably be called Pussy Cat.

I love the Dolls but I don't understand why they're looking for yet another member. Nicole basically does all the vocals for the group. I'm not sure what this new girl is going to do......whatever I love their first album I'm definitely looking forward to their next one. And I'll probably end up watching this show. When does it come on?? If it's on after Top Model that would be fantastic!

i dont think the show is too replace one of the six remember the pussy cat dolls is a burlesque troupe. and even if so that group is gonna change as the girls get older. (think menudo) clearly nicole is the star of the group right now but there are still five other girls and 30 others waiting in the wings

VM isn't cancelled but once the story arc to solve the Dean's murder is finished they're running that crap for 6 or more weeks with some stand alone VM epis to follow.

This should be interesting...but sadly, it will probably be as successful as all those other "making the band" esque shows....i mean, remember The Road To Stardom with Missy Elliot?

:rotflmao: I had completely forgotten about the Missy Elliot show, hopefully this won't be as bad. I love the Pussycat Dolls and can't wait for both Nicole's album and the second PCD album (since basically it's the same thing). However I don't see the need for a seventh Pussycat...the only reason I could think of is so that Nicole can play center with three girls on each side.

TLC's R U the Girl was about giving a fan a chance to do a live performance with the group. The winner also received a recording contract. It was never about finding a new member.

The show was a success. O'so Krispie won and is working on an album.

Chilli's solo album Point of View will be released sometime this year. Missy Elliott, the Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am and Timbaland are among the producers.

Chilli's song "Game Proof" was leaked onto the internet in the spring/early summer of 2006 and created a buzz. But "her people" released a statement threatening legal action and the song disappeared.
