Hell, it's not like I'm actively trying to hide it.

But still, we're all playing the "I'm not gonna be the first to mention it" game.

Is there a reason to say it? If don't, no reason to. If it comes up, say it like it's been said the last ten years.

Sometimes, when I'm in a slump, my mother says "I wish you'd talk to us"

My response is usually something along the lines of "I don't have anything to say"

Because I simply can't talk to them. I haven't even told them I'm going on holiday yet.
