Mine came from a Yahoo! group I created for the video game 'The Sims'. It featured items and clothing, etc., which appealed to the mature gay players. I simply used the first letters of the name of the group.

Mine came from having recently earned my black belt after many years of karate training. I used to just use Ninja on forums such as these, but we already had a JUBber using something similar, so I went with my formal credentials. I use the same moniker on almost all messageboards, so this one is but one of many and was not the first time I used the name.

Ironically, I'm not trained in ninjitsu, just good, ol' fashioned knockdown karate-do. But Ninja sounded cooler.
