I'm sure you guys have heard of or seen something about the movie.. It's an interesting concept, although I have no idea how good it will actually be.

Any thoughts?
 
Saw it yesterday. It was pathetic. It's basically the first 10 minutes of Scream, played out in 2 hours.
 
was it really that bad. my friend and i really want to go see this movie. but i think, even though i know now that its kinda bad, ill still love it, because liv tyler is in it, plus if i liked scream and the ring, then this really ((hopefully)) wont be any different.
 
Not bad. Are there better movies? Yup. But it's decently suspenceful and decently creepy and pretty well acted, notably by Liv Tyler. What else can one really ask from a horror movie?

I do like me some Liv Tyler though. I think she is freaking gorgeous, although I don't know if I can picture her being anyone else but Arwen ;)
 
Though I wouldn't go as low as to call it pathetic, it is pretty much your basic slasher film. Lots of running away, lots of wondering how much the hell longer until the killers get their dirty business done already.

Watch it at the theater and hope the rest of the audience treats it like a midnight showing with lots of participatory OoOo-ing and screaming and fun like that....

Trust me, I thought it looked really creepy too. It isn't anywhere near as creepy or suspenseful as the trailer would have you believe.

And this movie isn't even a piece of rotted shit on the bottom of the The Mist's shoe.
 
For me half the fun was waiting. It wasn't about the kill or the gore or the slashing, it was about the suspense. Waiting to find out just what the fuck is going to happen to these poor people.
 
That potato sack mask and suit though is in the running for my next Halloween costume...

I saw it last night and I was the only one of my friends who wasn't scared! It was certainly different and in it's own way it was somewhat sad.
 
Slasher based on Charles Manson family murders...I was just impressed that Liv didn't die like the actual people all did.

I actually really like this. I guess its because I scare really easily. Also I look at it as though it could really happen.

God i cant stand Liv Tyler.

The way she talks just drives me fuckin nuts...its so soft and gentle..i wanna just slap the bitch..
 
Sort of like Drew Barrymore? I mean, I love her, but the way she says things always sounds like she thinks something's really funny and she has to force her lines through quietly without cracking up.

Liv's silent talk, never really noticed it. But then again, I haven't seen a lot of stuff with her in it.
 
The trailers rock so much, but that's understandable. If your trailer sucks I probably won't see your movie.

The movie itself wasn't as good or scary as I thought it would be but I've definitely seen much worse and I give it credit for trying something a bit different then all the remakes and updates and Asian redo's we've been getting as of late.
 
will definitely go for it since there are no that many nice horrors out there lately. think it is not bad!
