the worst break/ fracture

Jones Fracture you never realize how much you take walking for granted til you can't do it anymore! The healing was such a pain in the ass the walking boot the knee scooter the attempted use of crutches ugh fuck that!

I fell about a month ago while loading up my utility trailer, I slid down the ramp and landed on my right arm and my hip. I felt no pain other than some from abrasions on my wrist and hand.
Had I been wearing the proper footwear it probably wouldn't have happened. I have been fortunate over the years to have had nothing more than a green stick fracture in my lower leg.

I have the broken leg and the worst part is not walking. I had broken 3 ribs before and the pain was constant for 2 weeks and subsided over 3 months.
I would take the broken ribs over the broken leg.

12 years ago, fell with my motorbike
(yes, I still ride)
and fractured my shoulder in 3 places.
The bones knitted, muscles recovered,
but nerve damage makes writing difficult to this day
(thank goodness for computers).

So the stress fracture in my foot has likely healed but has triggered rheumatoid arthritis flare-up.

So I am now in a brace to provide support while I regain stability and full use without pain.

Sitting in the Fracture clinic this morning, I was again reminded how lucky (?) I was this time.

I think because the foot is taking so long to heal....I would almost take the broken ribs...but no.

I have broken 4 or 5 of them over the years and just kill me.
