is it possible to play wmv video files on a mac? If possible, which player can I use?
 
As well as the Flip4Mac Quicktime component above, install Perian and VLC to provide support for almost every other format around.
 
VLC is probably the best player around on both PC and Mac, plays pretty much all video files except Real player files. Though most WMV files are encoded weird and sometimes VLC will screw up with playing the video correctly.
