Actually Michael has done so much for Parkinson's awareness that I would say that if anyone had to bear the mantle...he was the one to do it. Total hero. No cape.

PD shows up in my maternal grandmother's family. But has missed our own.

PD runs in my sister's husband's family and has affected generation after generation. My own niece and nephew and their children will be at risk... so we look to medical advances to make it a manageable condition for people for a full and otherwise healthy lifetime.
