I have a tight foreskin and a short banjo string (I think the technical term is a frenulum), both of which mean I cannot retract my foreskin over my head, even when flaccid.

I've done a little research and surgery/curcumcision can rectify this, but I'd rather not go down that road just yet. I was wondering if anyone knows of anything I can do, like stretching techniques or any creams I can apply. MAybe someone else had this problem and fixed it themselves.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You should probably see a doctor. One of my sons had phimosis and we were afraid he may have to have a circumcision, or at least a partial-circumcision. However, with the use of some stretching techniques and some topical steroid cream, things are looking better.

Good luck. I know it can be painful. But I wouldn't try a "do it yourself" method with something so important to a guy. Find a good urologist and let him check you out.

You can have the frenulum clipped. Often that will allow retraction.

SEE A DOCTOR! Get this corrected and have a good time with your dick! Seriously; have this done correctly. There is no reason to try some do-it-yourself method. A physician can guide you to the best course of action. Then you have a much better chance of not just making things worse for yourself. Good luck! And keep us posted on what happens!

I was circumcised when I was 22- totally painful but totally worth it- I do rather like to play with other guys skin now tho.....
I have been told about stretching but think it might be a long term life long thing- snipping can work just to loosen it if you dont want to lose the whole thing.

By all means read up on it, but ultimately you'll have to speak with a doctor about it.

I just saw my doctor and he said to just do some stretching and it should help. Circumcision is not an option I want..... The foreskin is rather stretchable it just takes a while (6 months to a year).

i actually also have this same problem. i asked my doctor about it (after researching it maybe a year ago?) and she told me it was phimosis and not a big deal, as long as i was hygienic. so after i asked her if there were any solutions, she told me there was circumcision but she wouldn't recommend that (she actually said that girls like uncircumcised penises! lol... she didn't know she was talking to a gay man when she said this lol).

but lately i've been wanting to get it 'fixed'. i just feel that when it comes to being intimate with someone, especially new, it's different from the norm, which makes people nervous because they don't know exactly how to deal with it. it also makes me feel like i need to explain... so i plan on visiting my doctor again and revisiting the subject. lately i've been stretching it, and have actually made improvement, but i feel like some sort of steroid cream which i've read about will help speed up the process.

a concern about everything i have though is the sensitivity i might feel once im able to pull back my skin. so far the skin ive been able to expose has been very sensitive... i'm assuming this is normal, but maybe more sensitive for me since that skin has always been hidden. any advice on this part? how to deal with the increased sensitivity? thanks!

See a urologist. General physicians will likely not know the options but a good urologist should.

Thanks for all the information. I guess I'll have to see an expert (I kinda knew that really). It does seem like stretching could work, but as it's been said, I need to know how to do it properly (and maybe with steroid cream).

Once again, thanks for all the help. I'll certainly keep you all posted.

Just chop it off, foreskin's kinda useless if you really think about it. Pull it back to piss, pull it back to fuck, and pull it back to clean it...why have it? and my tip is just as sensative as any other boy who's uncut...so peeps saying cut is "not as sensative" is full of shit.

The foreskin serves a very good purpose, it protects the head of the penis. Without it it drys up, the surface thickens and it looses sensitivity. Your full of shit if you think the head or ur cock is as sensitive as mine! and i dont have a scar on my cock either!

Keep stretching it, i had a similar problem a few years ago and its all good now, dont even consider circmcision, it will get better.

As for the question at hand, stretch first (with the supervision of a urologist), and if nothing works, get the circumcision done.

I had mine chopped off in December and I love it. It looks better, feels better, and there's no more of that "pulling it back" business. Didn't hurt, wasn't painful, wasn't terrible. I was a breeze. Just get it hacked off, and enjoy your new, and better looking, penis! :)

I've been wanting to get the "banjo string" clipped, but how much did it cost though?? Does Insurance cover it??

Mutilation is not needed.
A good doctor can in an office visit can corrrect this
by cutting the frenulum a bit.
Keep our hood and enjoy an uncut cock.
