Tiny red pinpoint rash/irritation arond head of my penis

I don't know if anyone will be able to help me, but I am perplexed and I don't know what it could be.

About a month ago I jacked off probably 5 or 6 times in one day, (3 of them being right in a row) and after the last time I noticed that I had these little red pinpoint bumps on one of the underside of my head. At first I thought I just jacked off too much and that they would be gone by the morning. so, I thought nothing of it and went to bed.

Anyway, I woke up in the morning and it had gotten a little worse and there were now some of the other side too. And I noticed that they were pretty much formed in two lines and some were bigger than the others but none of them are any bigger than a 1mm. They are still the same size now, but the lines are a little less noticeable and they aren't all in line anymore. They don't really itch, or hurt, they are just irritated if something rubs up against them.

I looked up stuff online about stds and I don't really think it matches any of the descriptions, so I think I am ok as far as that goes,( I've always been safe anyway) but I just have no idea what it is and how to make it go away. I tried a bunch of different creams (neosporin/calamine lotion/monistat/balmex) sometimes I think they make it a little better but I dunno it could just be wishful thinking on my part.

I also have tried not jacking off for a few days at a time, but I'd get to like 3 days and think that its not getting better and give in and jack off again. As I'm typing this tho I haven't jacked off since last wednesday, I think its getting a little better but like I said its hard to tell.

I really don't know what it is and I just want it to go away. Any help?

I can't recognize much on the pic. But from what you said it sounds not like a rash or something like that .. maybe something fungal due to raw skin from that much jerking off? You should get it checked out.
Doesn't sound like an STD to me .. the only thing I can think of would be herpes (which you can also get from presumably safe sex) - but afaik it would not spread that fast.

Thanks for the quick response, Corny. I don't think its herpes because everything I've read says that herpes causes blister that form and pop and heal within a few days. This has been there for about a month. But, I also read that herpes can cause more mild symptoms too, but I can't find any pictures of what that might look like.....

Ok you did not mention the month before .. I would also back away from the suspicion of a fungal infection then, because that one would at least itch now. There still is HPV but they would look different then what you describe. Also there would be PPP but they would not suddenly appear.

I looked up PPP as well, and I dunno the line formation kinda looks the same but they are not raised up like that at all. just tiny little flesh colored bumps.

PPP can also be flatter and more flesh-coloured than in most of the "extreme" pics you will find online.
but .. they probably would have appeared during puberty when your penis was still growing, and not now.

The picture looks blurry but at a glance, it looks like you've got a combination of some irritation and pearly penile papules (PPP). They are pin-prick sized bumps and the vary from pale white to pink.

It doesn't look like an STD.

If you're not using a lubricant while jacking off, start. If you are using a lubricant, you might give some thought to whether you might be allergic to one of the ingredients.

You can use a over-the-counter cortisone cream for a few days to see if it will take some of the irritation away. You shouldn't use cortisone cream for more than a few days, though- it has a tendency to thin the skin with prolonged use.

If that doesn't resolve it, you may need to see a dermatologist.

you can try to snap a better pic and hope that someone can recognize more from it. or you can wait for someone more experience to come into this thread and recognize your symptoms.
but face it - we can only assume things over the internet.
maybe rule a few things out, and say what is likely and what not.
but to be sure - see your doctor.

You can get shots with the camera pulled back more- just increase the direct light onto your penis before taking the shots.

Yeah, those look like "mild" PPP - did you never notice them before? Maybe they just got irritated/raw from the jacking off.

I definitely never had them before. Actually, they kind of look like what the guy has in the second link that Kara gave, but the spots that are actually on the had of his penis look like the ones around the rim of mine. So I should get cortizone cream?

Unfortunately the guy from the second link never reported back. The ones on his glans also do look like PPP, but he never could confirm that. The rim of the glans is "the" place for PPP. Still they do nto show up suddenly as far as I know.
Cortizone cream is probably worth a try, I trust Karabulut to know what he is saying here
