anybody heard this track yet? for me it's one of those that grows on you i think. looking forward to her album.

Its ok, i expected more from her tho! hopefully she comes out with a better song as her next single..

i mean, i grew up with those girls, TLC, so i kind of expected a better song from her, i cant see it becoming a big hit....but def. to 40 material...

i'm waiting for T-Boz to drop some FIRE!!!!

i'm waiting for T-Boz to drop some FIRE!!!!

yeah, me too.....

but sadly we'll never get to hear left eye drop another rap on a solo record, although she did record her first solo album Supernova, before her death, but it stills remains unreleased..

i'm almost ashamed to admit it, but sometimes i catch myself tearing up watching TLC vids on youtube. i was watching Left Eyes "3 Minutes & Counting" remix for Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg and fuckin LOST IT!!! shit had me bawlin'....

lyrically, Left Eye was UNTOUCHABLE!!!

ugh i cant believe this.. the song isnt that good. i didnt even really like her other songs glidin, game proof, or straight jack (were those even real?) but i think they are better than this. i hope she has something better than that! isnt she from atl??? i dont know who produced this but tell me she couldnt find anyone better??? i dont know why she has to go completely solo, if tboz is doing a solo project too, cant they just colaborate? im kinda surprised they are going to attempt. i dont like when great artists try to make comebacks which usually dont really fit with the current trends of music and it ends up kinda sloppy. just stop while you are at the top! i kinda think this is where mariah carey is going to end up with her next album or two. i hope whitney doesnt come out with some hip hop shit or dumb down her vocals. but anyways i love chilli, she was my fav from tlc. she was always the sexy one and had the best parts in most of their songs imo.

So far Gameproof is the only solo song I've liked from Chilli...and of course it features T-Boz. This song isn't doing it for me. It reminds me of what Monica has done with her music. She's gone so hood that no one listens to her any more.

i know! thats what i mean! monica had some great albums and even though i do like some of her new stuff its just not as good as it used to be cuz shes trying to fit in with whats popular today and it doesnt fit her. i dont think brandy will be able to come back either; i think i read about her on another thread about working on a new album.

I hope Brandy can come back. Actually, her last album was really good and was very well-received by critics. But it didn't sell well. As of April of this year her album "Afrodisiac" has only sold 416,000 copies which is a far cry from "Never Say Never" which sold 14 million. Even the mostly forgotten about "Full Moon" went platinum. It's surprising that Timbaland produced most of Afrodisiac but it was still generally overlooked. I don't even like Timbaland but I still think it was a much better album than Monica's ultra-ghetto "The Makings of Me" which deserved the lack of attention it received. Just looking at the cover art for that album lets you know what you're in for. But Monica has definitely seen her best days. "The Boy is Mine" is her best selling album ever and it still only sold half of what Brandy's "Never Say Never" did. Even "After the Storm" which seemed pretty popular barely went platinum. If it did at all. So I think Brandy has a better chance of coming back than she does.

I would like to see Chilli have a good solo album out also, but judging from what I've heard from her so far I don't see it happening. It's no wonder she can't seem to get an album released for the sake of her. I think I'd rather hear some solo work from T-Boz.

yeah brandy has always sold more than monica, but just looking at afrodisiac and at the time it was released, i think her chances of selling or having hits is even worse. idk i cant say because ive always been biased, i never understood brandys appeal. i did like a few of her songs, i wanna be down, sitting up in my room, and have you ever, but i never really liked her. her personality seemed hella fake. especially seeing how she acted when she got punkd she seems like a bitch. to me, at least monica was real and she could sing. its not about that i guess?lol she probably has even worse changes of making any kind of come back. if she does make another album i hope she realizes where her talent lies.

i don't think it was released in the US. not for awhile atleast, if ever. i was kinda curious to see how she'd do on Deathrow Records. at the same time i was really concerned over possible bad influences from that damn Suge Knight....

^^
Well I've never been around Brandy nor Monica but they give good interviews and I've never heard of like a Carson Daly, or some other VJ speak badly about these girls...

BTW:
Brandy's new single is climbing up the charts, I'm hearing it almost everywhere... "Right Here (Departed)" is the name youtube it and show support...

Monica's latest venture, "Still Standing" is an urban banger, not too much crossover potential but this is the single Monica fought for and I'm proud, I love and play it whenever I can... Love Ludacris but I hope they have a "no rap edit" on the official single cd.

As for Ms. Rozonda "Chili" Thomas, I thought she was with Akon in the studio what happened... She needs to get back with Dallas Austin. Brandy got back with Darkchild and "Right Here" is the outcome...

i'm waiting for T-Boz to drop some FIRE!!!!

Have you heard the T-Boz song "U Got Me Open"? Apparently it's an unreleased demo that was recently leaked.

TLC has always been my favorite group. I miss them so much. :(
CrazySexyCool is a classic.

Okay, I take that back. On second listen it is a little underwhelming. Who is the producer. The Producers were arguably the biggest reason for the success of TLC. Sure Left-Eye's Lyrics and the personalities of all three were big factors too, but the producers cowrote and arranged the music. I'm thinkin' that maybe there wasn't the budget for a producer who could make this better than it is.

The song was produced by Battery 5.

The other producers for the album, Bi-Polar, are T-Pain, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, Missy Elliott, Maestro, Akon and Sanchez Holmes.

Chilli has said that she wanted to use "up and coming producers," so it would have a new sound.

I've heard that she was working with Dallas Austin again....................I really hope that's true. TLC and Dallas Austin made great music together.
