To the readers

A lot of writers spend a great deal of time writing these stories for your reading and other pleasures, so would you please consider taking the time to post even a short comment when you have read a story. It won''t take but a moment, and it will go a long way to making the authors of these stories feel like what they are doing has some value to all of you readers.

It's disheartening to work on a story for hours and sometimes days or months, only to have the same few people post that they liked it or didn't. Even though, from the number of reads of a story can sometimes be in the thousands.

/agree! Everyone who posts on here is putting themselves up for rejection or approval. Lets give them some encouragement and constructive criticism.

We grow and get better only if our faults are pointed out. Most of us work in isolation and essentially without feedback. While it's nice to get pats on the head by readers saying it was hot or exciting, we really only learn by having our mistakes pointed out.

If the author is so thin skinned that he can't take constructive criticism, then he shouldn't be posting in the first place.

Fire away.

From my perspective I find all the stories enjoyable and entertaining and have always posted comments of thank.

However, the problem that I have with some of the stories are the lengths...there was one story that I was reading and I found out that it basically was a never ending story and at this point in time it is up to around part 180 or there abouts.

I much prefer the stories that are complete within 4 or 5 parts but the neverending stories are not for me.

So, my suggestion to all the writers is...yes continue to write the stories for us but please try to keep them short...or at least in the opening chapter/part mention that it could become a never ending story.
