Top Chef: Just Desserts (Season 2)

After watching Season 1 who knew Pastry Chefs would bring out "The Crazy" over Cookies & Cup-Cakes? I'll never look at the Grocery store Baker the same way again...


Season 2 opening episode was more low-key than the Drama we saw during Season 1 opening episode...Keeping with the script when Gail and Elvis walked out to greet the Contestants they talked about how Beautiful she was and how Beautiful Elvis's eyes are...LOL...

Craig is gonna stay on the show as LONG as they can keep him. Why? Because he's a Mess. Craig doesn't have much experience but you gotta Love his "Steve Urkel" routine...No one wants him as their team-partner..

Matthew & Amanda are this Season's "Cuties"...

Orlando resembles "Kobe Bryant" and he appears to be the one to Beat this Season...


Quick Fire Challenge...Create a Modern day "Soda Fountain" dessert....None of their creations looked good enough to eat...Amanda and Nelson won the challenge and immunity...


Elimination Challenge.....Create a Dessert that could fit into one of your favorite Childhood Fairy Tales....I had to laugh when Nelson said he didn't know what the judges was talking about. Nelson said he's from Argentina and never heard of anything called a "Fairy Tale"....Nelson won immunity in the last round so it didn't matter...His team created an edible sculpture around 'Goldilocks and the 3 Bears" and took 2nd place...


Chris(one to beat), Amanda, Carlos & Matthew won the Elimination for their Sculpture/Dessert around "Little Red riding hood..."


Lina went home because she thought creating a plain Witch's house for "Hansel & Gretel" made more sense than building a house made out of Gingerbread and Candy....Hello...

Craig is annoying...he's talking about just getting out of school but doesn't remember anything or have any faith in anything he's doing.

I can't tell....is it gay with a little bit of hearing impairment or gay with a little bit of like autism or cerebal palsy or something else?

I LOVE the CAST that MAKES THEM...

Well the Producers went with "CRAZY" last year so this year they had to change it up....I think Craig has a lot of stuff going on but he means well......

Last year I thought the show would FAIL..Who wants to see a show about Desserts? To my surprise it was pretty good...It's definately a "Filler" for all the Blank space in TV-Land...

I just don't see how this season is going to measure up to all the drama and messiness of last season. A cast that crazy and bitchy only happens once in a lifetime!
