Topics that should be banned being posted

If you didn't have some totally stupid threads to compare with the totally brilliant ones, then all the posts would be average---and that would be Communism, wouldn't it? And that would mean that we lost the Cold War.

Although we see the same topics over and over, I try to remember that there are always new members that have never gotten to discuss these ideas. They've never gotten to talk about their feelings about a certain subject or ask advice to see if they are normal (i.e. how often do you jackoff?).

Every single day there are new members coming onto the boards. I, for one, was grateful to see some threads about things I had never really discussed in detail with other guys before. So I say, keep 'em coming.

What about freedom of speech? No topic should be banned. If you don't like the content of a particular thread--don't read it!
What about protection of the weaker persons? The opinions of Neo-Nazis and pedophiles don't need support.

Freedom of speech is all very well and good until someone says something the majority of people disagree with and then it's all censorship galore.

lets keep freedom of speech. I enjoy reading about circumcision as its not readily discussed here by many in my country. I was a RIC and was in a minority at school. So keep the topic going

It seems to me some of those topics should actually have stickies on them so that there isn't a new "cut or uncut" thread opened every other month.

On the other hand, maybe there should be a "kinky" or paraphilias subdirectory - only those interested in the unusual side of sex would have to come across titles like "should I let my boyfriend take a dump on me" or "have you ever stuck a finger up your dad" (I'd definitely read the responses on that last one, actually).

I don't favor banning any topics here. Everyone has a right to post what they have an opinion or comment on just as much as we have a right to read or ignore it. That is why certain topics have their own forums. I personally hate discussing politics, so although I will never visit, read or post in that forum, I respect JUB for providing that forum for those that are interested. Same goes for fetishes and anything else others differ in interest.

Where I DO draw the line is having forums that by virtue of their existence condone already established illegal behavior (e.g., pedophilia). Thankfully I do not see that is the case here. I have seen a post titled "Help! I have a crush on a minor!" and I think that the creator of the post was OK in posting this as long as there was no discussion on actual or intended actions upon the said minor.

I am sorry I got off track ... offtopic:

My point is ... if people want to talk circumcision, eating cum, threesome sex, Heineken bottles up the chacha, why they think Bush is gay or whatever. As long as it is not illegal activity, First Amendment right ... let it be. All I would do is chuckle at the topic headings of what I dislike and move on to others. Not a big deal. Just like some of you will choose to read this post or not or reply to this post or not.

Just because you hate brussel sprouts (which by the way I DO HATE!) and don't buy them does not mean they should be removed from the supermarket [-X ..
