Transformers

I only hope that, if there is indeed a sequel, that they get back to Prime's original paint job from the Generation One series, and for Megatron to revert back to something similar to his own G1 creation. But honestly, I loved Bumblebee's new version as well as the other autobots, so I was happy in that regard for the most part.

There's definately going to be a sequal. The studio gave it the greenlight the other day, and everyone is signed on to come back, (Shia, Josh, Tyreese, Meghan).

Since Starscream got away at the end, I hope he comes back with the Combaticons, like in the cartoon. And maybe Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod can come to earth to warn Optimus Prime, with the Arielbots.
How awesome would a Bruticus vs. Superion fight be on the big screen??

EDIT: I just read that everyone is signed up for three movies. If they leave Starscream as the main bad guy for the second movie, Megatron could be rebuilt as Galvatron for the third....That could be cool.

I think the last scene of the movie before the credit scroll starts is enough to show that Starscream has something planned.
yes but I think it's gonna be weird for general movie-goers to take him as the main villain when he didn't have that much speaking scenes in this one

then again I think the people behind this movie know what they're doing since this movie GREATLY EXCEEDED my expectations

although I'm still disapproving of having the "black" transformer being killed off..............

Ok was not a transformers fan before, now I'm hot-crazy over it! Saw it several times in the cinemas!

Also a huge Michael Bay fan so, yeah awesome all round. The BEST epic movie this year (Spiderman, Shrek, and Pirates sorta sucked)

Honestly I hate Michael Bay movies.

His stories are always the same, and there is all this posturing of the good guys saying why the must save the world. And the bad guys saying why they are so bad.

It really reminded me so much of Independence Day...

But I must say it wasn't too bad. I liked the humor, the romance had the chemistry of Six Days Seven Nights. And Shia acts better than Ben Affleck.

It was a bit too long and the action scenes feel a bit too jumpy for me. The special effects were fantastic!

But honestly I was expecting a really crappy movie, and ended up enjoying more than I thought I would

BTW I did not pay for the ticket, it was a work thing...

Am I the only person on this thread that loved the "Bee-otch" thing on Bumblebee's rear view mirror?

I heard a few people laughing when they noticed that in the theater.

I watched the original English version of this movies on July 11th, when it was realised in China. It is a GREAT blockbuster, really better than my favorite superhero "Spider-man 3". And I enjoyed watching the G1 cartoon series when I was a kid.

And today, I got the G1 catoon series DVD set from amazon.cn, I found the stories of the movie and the series are so different, especially the human characters. But, that doesn't change what I think of the movie, I think it's the best of 2007.

By the way, I can't believe the DVD boxset of the series available at amazon.com is imported from China, exactly the same with mine.

I saw Transformers yesterday, and although it was a tad too long, I enjoyed it tremendously.
Shia was ridiculously cute in this movie...I'd let him fuck me for sure...:sex:

This is one of the worst films I've seen in a long time. It's just the world's most expensive commercial (and you get My Little Pony and Furby as well as Transformers). The whole thing was completely pointless!
