Any person that commits a misdemeanor spoils their "people's" reputation. It's not only transvestites that can do this, since gays/straights/bi's/whatever can do the same thing. There are normal transvestites out there, just as there are normal gays. Just because a handful are prostitutes and commit misdemeanors doesn't mean they all do the same thing.

Not at all, I have friends who are Transvestite (not all gay I would like to point out) and I do not like to see this group knocked, as they are a venerable and easy target. Why people, especially on a gay forum, which is in itself a minority, would attach another minority, I don't know.

I was asked to clarify this, so...

A we're talking strict transvestite, they have nothing to do with the gay community. They're just people who dress in the opposite sex's typical clothing, as I understand it, free of any associations/battles with gender identity.

If we're talking about gay transexuals, then they factor into the gay community...since they're gay. And I don't think they reflect badly on the gay community, because the gay community isn't just one person and their concept of being. We're a community, that means that it's aggragations of individuals, all of whom are unique. So parts of our community are made up of gay or lesbian or bisexual transvestites and I have no beef with them.

If we're talking about transgendered people, then it's another story and I also have no problem with them either and they are more relevant to the LGBT community because they represent the 'T' in LGBT.

So I think asking that question is silly, because transvestites on their own say nothing about the gay community, and they represent the fetish community more accurately, though not exclusively, sicne it might not even been sexually related. The question is as valid as asking if some other unrelated group (such as heterosexual female femminists) somehow reflects badly on the gay community.

Can you please prove that "their own rallies" are orgies? And I mean proof -- any finger-fucking closet case can "say" gay pride parades are "orgies," but where is your proof? Surely an "orgy" would cause the police to close the event down as a public nuisance and that would mean there are records of arrests, stories in newspapers, etc. So perhaps instead of speaking out of one's capacious (if unused) rectum, persons making these wild-eyed accusations could prove it. So prove it -- prove your claim. Otherwise, it's another lie, and there are many of them. I look forward to your cites and if necessary I'll remind you.
