I truly wonder what % of the male population is non straight. That would include gay, bi, closeted, straight msm, those who fantasize about men but would never act on it, etc etc. Everything that is not 100 straight. I suspect thr percentage wohld be quite high. Any ideas?

Yeah. I would love to have an idea of it. I think the Kinsey studies indicated that around 33% of men have engaged in at least one homosexual encounter during their lifetime. And about 10% engage in homosexual behavior regularly. But this was a long time ago. I think it needs re-verification again. It would be a nice PhD research topic. With the powers of the data driven internet, it might be better to estimate it this time around.

I think everyone is bisexual when start sexuality its just a way your influenced challenge So its hard to really point a percentage.

There isn't a man alive who doesn't like his cock sucked and, given the right circumstances, cares little about whose mouth is doing the sucking. Gleen from that what you may.

Its a scale from 0 to 10.
My guess sexually all spread out along the scale. That is why you see all the fetishes include poo eating LOL

I think there's a spectrum of human sexuality. One side is 100% straight; the other is 100% gay. Most people are a bit further in, but then it really depends on the individual. I don't think very many people out there are 100%-ers.

Totally agree!!! If say, 5% are totally gay, then I think 5% are totally straight and the rest fall somewhere along the line somewhere. It's the balance of nature.

I agree with the 5% figure at the end of each spectrum but taking the Str8 end quite a few of the 'str8' guys would not be prepared to act out their interests with another guy sexually because of the posible stigma attached to any such action. Of those who would many of these would not be prepared to return any 'favours' since actually touching another guy is considered by many 'str8' as too gay! So if any figures were produced they would really be meaningles as far as actual action between guys is concerned.

Sexuality is a human construction. The figures wouldn't really mean much because who could tell if a person is truly "straight" and not-straight? What is "straight" and what determines who is straight and who isn't? Is the definition of it something that society dictates or is it based on an individual experience?

In the US, probably about 3-15% of the population would identify itself as homosexual, but up to 80 or 90% of the total population has a certain degree of homosexuality in them, but how much depends on the individual. Sexuality is a continuum with exclusive heterosexuality on one end and homosexuality on the other end and people scattered thoughout this continuum. In American society, many people see gay/bi/straight as being either/or, mutually exclusive categories, but other societies might classy sexuality a different way. For example, a person might classified as having a dominant personality trait that's heterosexual while being gay to a minor extent, maybe be 88% straight and 12% gay. Studies have been done to prove that many men who hate and bash gays are deep down afraid of becoming gay, and for them to be afraid means they have homosexual tendecies; they want to prove to others and to themselves how straight and how manly they are. How we indentify ourselves sexually is strongly dictated by the options the prevailing customs in a certain society give us. It's so endlessly complex. In some cultures and sub-cultures a straight guy who tops another guy isn't considered gay, or a straight man who does gay for pay may not see himself as gay because he's only doing it for the money.

Sometimes I wonder if homosexuality is the norm and heterosexuality is the learned behaviour.
