I recently tried to watch the BBC's Atlantis... yes, that show that they canned Merlin over.
The actors are alright but the show just lobs you into the story and as a result I felt like I was watching a Sy-Fy channel movie.
Sure, the main actor is reasonably hot but there is nothing of particular interest, this show is G-rated family flotsam.
If it was a bit mature with man parts flapping about... I'd be tuning in all the way through but neh...
I tuned out after mid-way through the first season because it was at that point I realized that I was watching a redressed and reshuffled deck version of Merlin.
Whatever happened to the BBC doing serious adult themed shows. I miss Torchwood.

Devious Maids. It's written and created by Marc Cherry who also created and wrote Desperate Housewives. It's on Sunday nights on Lifetime. The second season started last Sunday night.

I highly recommend BBC's Orphan Black. I binged on it a couple of weeks ago, and now I am absolutely hooked. A woman witnesses the death of someone who looks exactly like her. Soon after, she gets sucked into the chaos of her double's life.
