I'm looking to buy a TV Tuner card for my laptop and was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to which brand or model I should consider.
Thanks

I tried a Pinnacle and it was so bad a left a review on the website where purchased.

I have used Hauppauge in 2 different computers. My current USB is the 950Q and would highly reccomend their products.

I use an Elgato EyeTV on a MacBook Pro and it is virtually faultless. Plus I can tell it to record programs remotely via my iPhone.

I have to agree. But this is only Mac compatible. If you are running Windows, it won't work.

I use the Win TV Nova-T-500. Their hardware is great, the software is shockingly bad though. Luckily it works great with Media Centre.

Hauppauge is the leader in the sector. They've got a few USB options, and you'll hav eto decide whether you want HD or not.

I have a hauppauge Win tv hpr900 on my Mac and it works great, uses elgato software which is so much better than the windows crap which it also supports.
