  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

Two Husker Wrestlers Dismissed...

With the proliferation of so many "college" etc... websites, I have often wondered how many of their lives are ultimately negatively impacted by friends, family, co-workers, etc... finding out.

It's hard to believe that they think it can be "confidential", but the lure of the almighty strong is mighty strong... [-X

Every time this topic has come up the thread has been deleted.

](*,)](*,)

we may like looking at the models, but here is an example of the risks they run in posing for those photos.:(

granted it was their decision to make, but one has to wonder how and why it was made.;)

hopefully the incident does not effect the rest of their college years.

it would be most interesting to know how the disclosure came about.

eM.:(

^^The fact that it's a site for gay men might have slightly more impact than in the cases you mentioned.

No logical reason why that's so, but life isn't fair.

It really is unfortunate. I too hope they can move on with their lives (collegiate lives) like there program states...

I feel bad for them mostly because NU just turned their backs on them. No support at all. Poor boys.

Was it because of the dues, or was it the fact that they got paid for it?

I think it's because they recieved money for those...images? Movie?

That first guy looks pretty good but the other one is fugly.

I often wonder how the guys on sites like Military Classified, which most of them are straight, don't think about having their lives ruined by people who expose them in the real world. Especially considering that many of them work for the government.

Anyway, I don't think this is because it's a gay issue. I think them being in any kind of porn or using their images for commercial gain would have gotten them the same punishment, and they had had problems before this if you read the article.

Ugh, I wish people would read what the Mods have to say about this. Please don't quote their names, if you can go back and edit this please do so, or hit the post report button and ask a Mod to do it if it's too late. #-o

Done, but I don't see the point. Anyone can just go on the article and read their real names. Why do the mods feel they need to be protected when it's all over the net now anyway for anyone to read?

Rules are for other people. Especially when the ramifications are for other people.

Keep the names and links coming, kids. Keep "fighting the man".

^ Ooo, sorry about that. My fault. That should've read:

Keep the names and links AND PICTURES coming, kids. Keep "fighting the man.

The gargoyle regrets the error.

Dave.... I'm sorely disappointed that you have chosen to whack Lex on the arse and have seemingly forgot about this poor helpless sexless pilot that needs a good paddling too. Tisk tisk tisk.
It must be similar to the way that you forget to come to England and me, and go to Ireland and Noelie instead... :p ;)

Wait, is Marsh really promoting Paris Hilton as a model for society's future? The guys on these websites can take their clothes off on their own free will, but in this case they are members of and represent another institution.

"According to fratmen.tv owner John Marsh, the two had both indicated to them that they were hoping to continue with their college wrestling careers. At this point they'd have to apply to the NCAA at a different school to do so.

Said Marsh: "If Nebraska is going to be pigheaded and kick him off unreasonably, there has to be another wrestling program that's going to want him." Of the money they earned on fratmen.tv, Marsh said: "It's not money that they would be making working as a waiter. They get well-compensated. It's better than beer money...I'm in my mid 40s, and my generation has a stigma about porn. The kids, the generation of the student-athletes, don't have that stigma. They really don't care. They've come from a Paris Hilton, Tommy Lee-Pamela Anderson sex tape generation, Myspace pages. The shame and stigma aren't there for them. They're mostly worried about what their parents are going to think, because their parents think it's horrifying." Source Towleroad "
