Disregarding price, I like the looks of the one on the left better than the squarer one on the right, but like the solid gold band on the right. Both of them have too much information on the face and I am not used to digital clocks. I have a Seiko and a Timex similar to the one on the left.
 
As with the choice of automobiles, I'd choose the more expensive one. I don't like the looks of either, but--I presume these are gifts--the resale on a Rolex could be considerable, whereas I believe the Casio would have no resale value at all. I wear old watches from the fifties. Not hugely expensive, but great style. I've never desired to wear a Rolex.
