I know it's normal, and I know what it is, I just can't accept them. I have them all up my foreskin but they look normal to me on that part. Even a doctor mistook them for an infection, how am I meant to live with them? :(

What are you asking us to help you with exactly? If it's been there for a long time without spreading then it probably is PPP. A fungal infection untreated would spread. If your doctor thinks it's a fungal infection, maybe he should do a culture test? Can you get a referral to a dermatologist who has seen PPP cases?

As for a solution, the only effective permanent treatment for PPP is physical removal of the papules. Creams, toothpaste, vinegar treatments don't really work. So you need to find a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon that has experience in treating these cases either with CO2 laser or Radiosurgery. Read this link about the procedure. http://www.dermacaremedical.com/pearly-penile-papules.php

I just want to remove them or lessen their appearance greatly. You say they don't 'really' work, does that mean they have the chance to work then?

Thanks

It doesn't hurt to try but definitely they're not a permanent solution. I think they mostly mask the appearance of papules temporally, but even that doesn't work for everyone. Start doing some google homework and read about these treatments people try.

I have PPP, and although I am self conscious when it comes to having to explain them to an inexperienced or sexually uneducated person in the bedroom, after that I have no issues. In all honesty too, I have initiated the conversation about them each time, the other parties have probably never noticed. I just didn't want them to think it was an STD if they had never seen them before.

I've had them since puberty so I've grown to accept them.
