It sounds like he's messing with your mind. If "Dave" is gay then there is no problem if he found out you are on a gay website. JUB isn't a porn website per se but it is defintitely something I would not look at on a work computer!
I wouldn't consider JUB work-friendly because of the naughty sigs, avatars and top banners. Even though you only access the forums, you will come across some porn-related images every time. So it would be wise not to visit JUB when at work.
Most companies can see a list of websites you have visited. However, there are programs that save a screenshot of whatever you're doing every five or ten minutes, so I would be very very careful about what you do at work. Know the company's internet policy. Are you allowed to visit news websites? Check your e-mail? Visit forums? Like Croynan said: it's your job - do you wish to keep it?

When you open a website and there's pictures of naked to nearly naked men kissing, having oral sex and anal sex on the front page, that's pretty much a porn site. Are there other ares to JUB? Obviously!! It is primarily a gay porn site that does a good job providing whatever you may be looking for. Is it a site one should be looking at at a place of business? Um... not unless you work at a gay oriented business and even at that unless it's a club this is just not a business friendly site to be surfing at work.

yeah...sorry but JUB is a gay porn site. even if you go directly to the forums, they are the forums of a gay porn site. its like if they caught a straight guy going to playboy.com...and then he said he only goes for the articles. it's just not an appropriate site to be at during work, and sorry but it's just common sense. have some tact about it...you got caught doing something wrong so just stop doing it.

This site is definitely not one for browsing at work. Most of the places I have worked at have specific written policies stating that internet use is strictly for work-related business. I would be fired if I were discovered entering this site at work or while working from home.

If they are ultra-liberal and don't give a damn, you are safe. If their bottomline like starts getting shaky, things just may suddenly change...
Working for myself, I do not see the problem. I can fire myself, but am not really seriously considering the option. Besides, I can always re-hire myself, too. Can't I?
