Unpleasant question about anal sex

Firstly I ask this, cause I have never had experiences with anal sex.

My question is basically, do most guys generally shower before engaging in anal sex to properly clean their behind, before their sexual partner enters them? Cause I can't help wondering that if you don't and you have done #2s since last showering, that no matter how hard you try to clean your behind with toilet paper, there's always going to be crap still up there.

So if you spontaneously choose to have anal sex, can it get nasty if someone is a bit dirty down there?

I know this is a pretty awful topic, but I had to know. Thanks for answering

I think he means an enema.

If you read the sticky, you'll see that it's not really necessary but it makes some people feel better to do it anyway. There's multiple threads about the enema vs no enema discussion but it comes down to a matter of personal preference.
