If you hook up with a guy but he does not mention anything about condoms, does that mean he has HIV aids?

My friend is freaking out now he is a top and he just had unprotected sex with a bottom that asked him to cum inside him. He did.

But now my friend is wondering why, in this day and age would a random stranger he just met would want him to cum inside him? Doesn't it seem as if he will and has let alot of other guys cum inside him?

Now he has to wait 3 months and get tested for HIV to make sure he didn't get aids from the bottom guy.

I wish my friend the best but then i asked my friend why didn't you just ask him if he had a condom or why didn't you bring a condom. My friend said he had a condom but he felt that if he brought up the condom issue that the bottom would think he thinks that he has aids. So then i said to him are you serious? This is your life we are talking about, you need to look out for you. You mean you would really throw your life away for 10 minutes of ass?

good point and you are right in what you said, as I would have said the same. Not only are you going to be wondering, but only he knows how he is going to deal with it. He'll be on pins and needles for the next few months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ](*,) :help: :(

If someone reacted poorly to me insisting on using a condom, I'd show him the door. And not politely either.

Maybe its because my generation (people born in the early 1980s) has been raised in world where sex education was the norm and AIDs was everywhere, but the use of a condom to me at least is implied when you have sex.

I can't even separate the two, you have sex-you use a condom. No questions.

And if someone asked me not to, hell I'd run out my down door lol.

OH my gosh guys its horrible.

On the bottom guys online profile when he met my friend he listed his HIV status as negative. My friend just called me and he said the bottom guys HIV status was chnaged to positive with a caption reading "Looking for other HIV positive men in the area"

(U)

This is so unreal. Why? Why? Why?

heres the upside ... a) its a lot more difficult for a top to catch it from a bottom... thats no excuse but... b) if he does come back negative and heres hoping... he won't make the same mistake again... remember no glove no love...

Every man should carry a condom with them at all times pulling out a condom doesn't mean you have something it means you don't want to get anything...its a protection for and from the other person...

Yeah, newboy, while sleeping with someone who is HIV + is a significantly higher risk for catching HIV (obviously), the chances are less for contraction if he was the top than the bottom.

If your friend makes it out of this clean, he's a lucky guy and he should listen to you and never question condom use again. Worried the other guy woudl think he has AIDS, what nonsense! Don't people want to protect themselves anymore?

I'm not sure how long ago it happened but if it happens within a certain time frame and he goes to a doctor, they can give him drugs that decrease his chances of contracting HIV. But if it has been over 24 hours I'm pretty sure they're worthless.

As stated, not everybody who has anal sex with an HIV positive person converts to positive. And being a top is less risky than a bottom.

I hope all turns out well.

Why do some folks seem to have a death wish? And when that's transferred to the area of sex it leads folks to conclusions about the whole of the LGBT communnity. Embrace life and treasure it. Healthy relationships for you all.
Peace!

Oh my gosh guys i cannot stress this enough, protect yourselves people and dont trust anyone no matter how good they look or what they say. Wrap it up. In the end no one loves you better than you.

I just came from this website it had 20 pictures of men all looking good, healthy and attractive. The tagline was " Can you tell who has HIV?"

My score was 5/20, thats horrible. No matter how good or healthy a man looks he could have HIV/ Aids. You cant tell nowadays. And some of those guys were tops, capable of pumping HIV infected semen in your bottoms and or down your throats.

These are some serious times people, get tested regularly and always use protection.

Condoms are only 85% effective according to Desperate Housewives. Bare that in mind.

At least he didn't bottom, you're almost gaurenteed to get it that way unless you're very lucky or have some sort of CD4 genetic mutation.

Not true.... "The risk for one episode of of unprotected receptive anal sex has been documentted to range from about 1 in 1300 to about 1 in 50." from http://aids.about.com/od/hivaidsstats/f/infectionrisk.htm

I don't know the studies off hand, but it is far less than a guarantee and these numbers seem about right.
