Anyone here a fan of the show? From 1987 until 2002, Robert Stack hosted it and that original run is the best. They no longer show the show in the format it was ran when Stack was alive, but I have a lot of memories of the show, including being scared of a case where they found a dead old man in a steamer trunk and showed his morgue photo and creepy computer-reconstructed photo. The music and several of the cases, especially from 1990-1994, give me the willies.

I run a page about the show, it's very popular. Join if you want: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Unsolved-Mysteries/341180555899616

I remember that show!

I was really into those types of programmes in the mid-1990's when I was in my late teens. They were shown on Sky One back in its heyday when we'd just newly bought our satellite dish, and all these American shows seemed new and refreshing to me at the time.

I also watched Sightings which was a similar kind of show, and also COPS as well as another real-life 911 rescue/emergency show which name I've forgotten.

The music and several of the cases, especially from 1990-1994, give me the willies.

I still remember the theme tune even after all these years. Just looked it up on YouTube to post it here and re-listened to it and even now it still gives me a shivering tingle.

I watch the repeats all the time on some cable channel, love the missing person cases.

Two episodes followed by a double Jerry Springer, lovely trash tv through the night.

I've been watching all the DVD sets I have that they released physically. I am on disc 3 of the Ghosts set. I wish they'd release EVERY episode ever made, which is about 1000+, but still a great bargain.

The ghost segments were always my favorite. They kept me up at night, but I've always enjoyed scaring myself. One story in particular has stuck with me. Three cowboys came across an abandoned ranch in Texas and planned to restore it. One night as they slept in the house they were terrorized until the sun came up. They heard a number of different voices calling their names, heavy footsteps and walls banging and one of them felt someone sit on their legs. Needless to say, I didn't sleep for a week after watching that.
